These are vintage handcrafted, glazed green chili pepper ceramic ristras used for rustic farmhouse or Southwest-style wall decor.
"Ristra" means string in Spanish, and these are traditionally hung near home entrances to symbolize an abundant harvest. Features 26 ceramic peppers, modeled after Poblano or Jalapeño chiles, tied to a sturdy jute or braided rope.
22” long x 5” round. Each ceramic pepper is approximately 3” long
Minor consistent wear from age/use. This was purchased at large and exceptional fundraiser where the community provided vintage and antique items. It has been cleaned and ready to hang in your entry or kitchen.
