Offered is a large wheel-spun and wood-fired decorative glazed stoneware footed bowl featuring an abstract, crater-like texture in earthy tones of brown, tan, mossy green, and a hint of black splotches and with a brick red rim. It bears a signature "RICA" on the bottom.
The bowl is imperfect (as in wabi-sabi), very asymmetrical, and could be a student piece.
It measures approximately 14" in diameter, 4" tall, and has a flat round base that is 6.5" in diameter.
