Up for consideration is one very beautiful cobalt blue Moroccan cobalt blue footed ruffle bowl.
The base shows remnants of a pontil that was light sanded or re-fired. Surrounding the interior of the bowl and the base stem is a remarkably crafted chase silver and gold raised metal banding. Not to be confused with works like Bohemian and/or Czech glass where it is painted or transferred onto the glass. This metal work was hand crafted and follows the contours of the glass work. A truly impressive piece of artwork. A must have for any cobalt glass collector.
No chips, cracks, or breaks.
