Organic freeform hand-blown bowl in red sommerso glass with trapped air-bubble pattern (bullicante), characteristic of Italian Murano glassmaking. Origin: Italy, Murano. Designer: Studio glass master. Material: Hand-blown glass. Dimensions: H. 5,5 cm, D. 14 cm. Period: 1960s/70s. Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of age. Murano glass of the 1960s and 70s is known for its bold colours, organic sculptural forms and advanced techniques such as sommerso and bullicante, where air bubbles are encapsulated within the glass. Created by master glassblowers on Murano Island and now highly collectible. See less
