The hood has a pagoda top with three brass ball finials and flanking columns decorated to match the case. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, and a date aperture, signed "Tho. Budgen of Croydon." Original weights and brass pendulum bob present.
