High-quality vintage Spelter metal sculpture of a cockatoo, designed in an Art Deco style and mounted on a tiered black metal, heavy base. Used as a decorative stand alone sculpture or heavy bookend during the 1920s and 1930s. Beautiful details. Quite heavy, 4 pounds.
In wonderful condition, silver plated at one time but over the years has worn off.
