Beautiful vintage ARCO ceramic fruit compote or candy dish featuring a highly detailed sculpted fruit lid. The lid is decorated with a vibrant arrangement of apples, grapes, lemons, and citrus leaves, all hand-painted in rich, glossy colors. The pedestal bowl base is finished in classic white ceramic, giving the piece an elegant contrast that works beautifully in traditional, Italian, or Hollywood Regency interiors.
This decorative compote retains the original ARCO label on the underside, confirming its authenticity. ARCO pieces are known for their charming Italian-inspired fruit designs that were popular in high-end decorative home collections in the late 20th century.
This piece was originally purchased directly from ARCO by my grandmother in the 1960s and has been carefully kept in the family ever since.
Perfect for use as a candy dish, centerpiece, or decorative accent on a dining table, buffet, or kitchen counter.
Condition:Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Glossy finish and vibrant colors throughout. The interior of the bowl shows a few very light utensil marks from normal use, visible only upon close inspection.
