Remarkably refined antique French 19th century English style gilt bronze mantel clock by Guenée, an exceptional and highly decorative timepiece that blends French craftsmanship with strong British royal symbolism and influence. This striking clock is centered around a beautifully cast figural female figure, representing an allegorical queen or personification of sovereignty and empire. The piece is in good antique condition with the exception of some light surface scratches, Minor finish loss and normal age related wear there also appears to be a small hairline crack in the glaze of the face but we don't believe its all the way through.
