Early 20th Century Limoges Porcelain “Old Abbey” dinner plates. Set of 4.
A beautiful set of 4 hand painted, scalloped and embossed dinner plates from Limoges France by the acclaimed maker Latrille Frères.
Delicate pink flowers adorn each of these hand painted plates.
The marks on the underside of each plate signify the porcelain is authentic and produced during the early 20th century, specifically between 1908 and 1913.
There are two separate makers mark. One “Limoges, France” in green with a star and the second, in green, Old Abbey Limoges.
Old Abbey Limoges is celebrated for its meticulous artistry, with patterns that reflect the era’s aesthetic. Later acquired by the famous Pouyat family.
