Marvelously whimsical wall art plaques in distressed copper-colored metal with applied hibiscus petals and pistils in bas and high relief-style; wherever placed, these beauties will make a statement!

The frames were handcrafted from heavy gauge steel with all around rolled finished edges. A lighter gauge steel was utilized to cut and form the applied bas and high relief petals; center pistils were fashioned from perforated steel rope. The front sides are artfully brushed with a copper-colored paint with distressed dark brown undertones; backsides are satin ebony black. Together the set of three weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz. Each plaque measures 9½” x 9½” x 1/8” W/H/D. There is a sawtooth hanger on the backside of each plaque which will allow for immediate placement. I have also placed petite foam “buttons” on each corner on the backsides to protect wall surfaces that can be easily removed, if desired. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Unknown maker/artist but produced locally. I purchased the trio in 2016 from a local design and lighting store in the Waldo area of Kansas City that is no longer in business.

With a nod to the Art Nouveau art and design movement that grew out of the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th Century, these beauties are wonderfully unique and will look amazing hanging vertically on a slender feature wall or horizontally on a breezeway or entryway wall.
