The serial number 15597 is consistent with a late 19th-century production date, which aligns with the expansion of the French railway network when the Garnier firm was at its peak in providing industrial timekeeping solutions.

Beautiful patina and gilding remnants can be seen, the glass is whole and the hinge opens and the bezel locks well. The original wind-up keys have been lost to time.

This piece is sold as display or prop only, the brass pendulum and mounting hardware comes unattached and will be wrapped seperately.

The clock is approximately 7" in depth to the outside glass door with an approximate 20" diameter across. See less
