19th C. English Market Ironstone China Dinner Plates
Set of 11 - all featuring a beautiful floral centerpiece with exceptional detailing around the perimeter and inner circle.
And amazing colors...navy blue, rust, rose pink, greens, antique white, old gold, orange, pale yellow and so many more.
Plates have a 10" diameter - and still feature a very bright glaze finish and remarkable artisan detailing.
All are marked on the center reverse with crown makers stamp.
And, charmingly, all but three of them have a single "nick" on the perimeter...does not detract from use or display, just a sign that they are going strong at about 150 years old.

Well, in spite of the fact this is a "Bakers 11" as my husband put it, and they are showing a nick or two of love and seasoning, these are wonderful examples of the period.
Bright, bold, gorgeous, layered - use them at the table, hang them as art, deploy them as itch-alls for keys & mail...but use them and enjoy them as they were meant to be.
