An iconic Mid-Century Modern 'Mr. Chair' and ottoman, designed by George Mulhauser for Plycraft in the 1960s. A timeless example of American Modernist design, this sculptural lounge chair and ottoman is celebrated for its graceful lines, ergonomic comfort, and innovative use of molded plywood.
The Mid-Century Modern easy chair features a beautifully curved walnut shell with sweeping armrests and an organically contoured seat that hugs the body. The matching ottoman completes the set, inviting you to recline in style and comfort.
Similar in style and vibe as the Charles and Ray Eames 640 / 641 Lounge Chair and Ottoman by Herman Miller, the 'Mr Chair' design has also reached an iconic level of familiarity and collectibility, albeit not as expensive as the Eames design.
