Nice set of 12 Mason's Patent Ironstone dinner plates with basket weave border and showing a pastoral scene with people, … Read more Nice set of 12 Mason's Patent Ironstone dinner plates with basket weave border and showing a pastoral scene with people, horses and sheep in the distance. Plates are actually 10 3/8" diameter. Soft light jade green color of varying depths of color. Some plates almost have a yellowish/green tinge to them. The photos of the individual plate shows you the color the best. This plate also has some light crazing on the front and the back. I didnt see any on the other plates but its possible some of the others may have some light crazing or utensil marks from use. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The pattern number is C2586. I was not able to identify the pattern name. Based on the back stamp and pattern code I believe these are roughly from the 1920's. As you know Ironstone tends to be heavy hence the shipping cost.
