This exceptional 19th-century French Louis XVI-style chimney clock is a masterwork of gilt bronze (ormolu) craftsmanship, created between 1860 and 1880. The sculptural composition depicts a lively grape harvest scene with three finely cast putti nestled among intricate grapevines.
