The scalloped rim and richly patterned exterior panels showcase traditional chrysanthemum and geometric designs associated with historic Imari porcelain.

This elegant set of six vintage Imari-style porcelain bowls was produced in Arita, Japan, the historic center of Japanese porcelain craftsmanship.

Each bowl features the traditional panel design surrounding a central floral vase motif, rendered in the classic Imari palette of iron red, cobalt blue, celadon green, and gold accents.

The exterior panels incorporate classic Japanese decorative elements including chrysanthemum blossoms, geometric hexagon patterns, and stylized foliage. These motifs have appeared in Japanese porcelain for centuries and give the bowls a timeless decorative presence.

Marked Arita Fine China on the reverse, these pieces date to the late 1960s–1970s, when hand-decorated Imari porcelain was widely exported to the United States.
