An exceptional limited-edition studio glass bowl by the celebrated Venetian master Lino Tagliapietra, executed in 1986 and signed and numbered 25/100 on the underside. This sculptural vessel exemplifies Tagliapietra’s virtuoso command of complex cane techniques and his distinctive synthesis of Venetian tradition with contemporary studio glass aesthetics.

The bowl is constructed using an intricate zanfirico cane process, in which fine black and white filigree canes are twisted into a continuous spiraling lattice that wraps seamlessly around the interior and rim. The dynamic optical pattern creates a hypnotic sense of rotation and depth, shifting dramatically with changes in light and viewing angle. Beneath the patterned upper register, a deep translucent smoke-black body anchors the composition, subtly veiled by a thin ruby-red transition band that encircles the form and heightens the chromatic contrast.
