The china was made in … Read more This gorgeous set of midcentury china from Seyei china is perfect for nearly any décor. The china was made in post war japan in the 50s and 60s.The blue-grey color is a neutral base that's still able to pick up anything in the blue, grey or lavender families. The style is simple and elegant with a coupe design and platinum band. The platinum is in remarkable condition, some rub off, but minor. There is no chips, cracks or crazing. There's a complete set of 11-7 place settings plus a covered casserole dish ,the 10 3/4" oblong bowl, both the 12" AND 16" serving platters, a gravy with attached underplate, a creamer and a (currently) lidless sugar bowl and an extra 4 tea cups. The sugar bowl lid is a "current" situation, not a permanent one. Contact me if you have questions on that. It provides 10 place settings PLUS one for safety's sake. Just in case. Because as you can see with the sugar bowl situation, sometimes that extra one can be a life saver.
