Popularly brought back to the USA from trips abroad … Read more From my personal collection of over 100 alabaster grapes from Italy. Popularly brought back to the USA from trips abroad as decorative souvenirs, acquired at Roundtop, Brimfield, Scott Antique markets, estate sales and flea markets the world over. They look spectacular amassed in an unused fireplace, a giant clamshell, bowl, equally appealing solo on a shelf, mantle or atop a coffee table or book stack. This particular cluster has about 30 “grapes" attached to a real grapevine stem, has some loss of its colored lacquer exposing the alabaster underneath. The alabaster orbs graduate from smaller at the tip to larger at stem. These are each about 1" to 1.25" diameter. Alabaster portion alone is 7" long and stem is another38" showing, overall: 10" x 5" x 4.5"

First few photos accurately depict color which I would describe as a pale pink verging on "salmon" tone. See less
