Clock dates to early 20th century, circa 1920's, a great quality French made example retailed by English Mappin & Webb, London. Clock is nicely hand painted Asian Chinese Export style, done over burgundy base color. Front features a large gold dial with black Roman numerals. Dial is marked "Mapinn & Webb" and on the bottom "French made". Clock is in good overall condition, with light age / use wear, likely needs tuning, sold as non-working (please see photos). Size is 9.375" high, 5.375" wide and 3.125" deep at feet, while it is 3.5" deep from the back foot to the front of the glass. Gorgeous collection addition, decoration that can work in traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
