Item: Antique Walnut Rocking Chair with Needlework Seat and Back.
Age & Condition: Circa 1880. Good, small chip in the walnut frame.
Dimensions: 22″ wide x 30″ deep x 35″ tall. Seat Height is 17″ tall.
Beautiful antique Victorian Rocking chair with a walnut frame. This beautiful Needlepoint rocker has such a beautiful design!
Antique Victorian Rocking Chair
This beautiful antique Victorian rocking chair has a beautiful upholstered seat and back. The striking black background sets off the incredible floral design in the needlepoint. Certainly, this rocking chair shows the talent and dedicated labor to the craft of needlepoint.
Of course, this rocking chair is quite petite, and likely should become like a piece of art, rather than a functional rocking chair.
That said, there is sadly a small chip in the walnut frame. Please see photos.
