Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Basque Bar Stools from Crate & Barrel. Inspired by the rustic character of a European farmhouse antique, these substantial stools offer a strong yet comfortable presence defined by clean lines and enduring materials. The tall, modified double-slat backs provide supportive structure, while the generously proportioned seats highlight the natural character of the wood. Each stool is made from sustainable solid mango wood composed of hand-planed planks that reveal distinctive grain patterns and organic knots. Authentic peg detailing underscores the traditional joinery, and a honey-toned stain with lacquer enhances the depth and variation of the wood surface. The squared legs are reinforced with stretchers for added stability and durability, creating a balanced silhouette with lasting appeal. These are discontinued models.
