Two Japanese Vintage Lacquered Sets including one Set of 8 Sake Cups and Tray, and one Set of Dinner Bowls … Read more Two Japanese Vintage Lacquered Sets including one Set of 8 Sake Cups and Tray, and one Set of Dinner Bowls with Spoon and Fork, in original cases with metal locks. 20 pieces total, including the cases. Lacquer over plastic or melamine. Hand painted. Perfect for outdoor parties or picnics. These sets were brought to the United States in the late 1940s - early 1950s by our military personnel stationed in Japan after WWII. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1940s. Very Good to Good condition for age - some age wear, loss of lacquer on the spoon, fork and tray, as it is shown on the images, clean.
