Offered is a set of 4 hand crackle glazed ceramic Kotobuki Ikebana plates. They can be used as trinket dishes, coasters, snack plates, or as in Japan, to hold tea bags. Tea ceremonies are serious business in Japan. The design pattern is some type of flower, and the rims are subtly scalloped to reflect the shape of petals. The colors are lovely, a soft navy, butterscotch, turquoise, and a deep celery.
