This is a extremely Rare Vintage Mid Century Modern set of 5 Soup Bowls produced by Rosenthal of Germany in the 1950s and designed by Lis Muller.
The form was designed by Raymond Loewy and are part of the Rosenthal Classic pattern, and the decoration was designed by Lis Muller.
Each Soup Bowl is completely hand painted, and so each one is unique.
Each Bowl measures 9" in diameter and all pieces are in overall nice vintage condition.
These were either never used, or used lightly and well cared for as they are in nice condition, free of chips, breaks or repairs.
Each Soup Bowl is marked on the reverse side: ROSENTHAL HANDMALEREI MUCNHEN GERMANY.
One of the bowls is marked with a handwritten signature: LIS MUILLER and the others simply LIS
These pieces are extremely difficult to come by, and sure to please!!
