A beautiful fine quality Bohemian pink glass fruit tumbler by the celebrated glassmaker Moser Glassworks factory.
Exquisitely handmade in Bohemia (present day Czech Republic) around the turn of the century, featuring blown pink glass with extraordinary hand applied gilt enameled decoration in a whimsical scrolling butterfly-like flower motif. The pink colored glass and brillant gilding adding a touch of luxurious elegance, sophistication and grandeur. circa 1880-1930
No apparent signatures, typical of Moser works of the period. This tumbler is documented in the excellent book "Moser Artistic Glass" by Gary Baldwin, pages 116 - 117
Dimensions (approx):
3.875" High, 2.25" Diameter
Overall great original antique condition. No damage, chips or cracks. May have minor age appropriate wear, such as rubbing to gilded finish.
