Elevate your spring tablescape with this exquisite set of eight antique German porcelain luncheon plates. Featuring a delicate hand-painted floral trellis design, these plates are adorned with pink and yellow roses connected by verdant green vines. The scalloped edges and double gold-gilt bands add a layer of classic sophistication, perfect for a garden party or a refined afternoon tea.
These plates carry a unique history, bearing the "SAXE" crown mark (Saxe is the French term for Saxony/Dresden region) and a rare retailer stamp for Leopold P.H. Fisher of Petoskey, Michigan, a known purveyor of fine imported china during the early 1900s.
This SAXE specific mark dates these plates' production to approximately between 1886 and 1910.
