This listing is for an antique black mantel clock by Ansonia. This one is the “Verona” model.
This clock features a cast iron case with porcelain dial and open escapement movement.
This is quite a nice model with ornate ornamentation throughout.
The clock physically appears to be in overall good condition. The clock has been nicely cared for. Colors have probably been well kept- probably retouched at some point.
The 8 day time/strike movement was last serviced in 2017. It ran and chimed when recently tested.
The clock measures about 16.25 x 6 x 11.75 inches
