A vintage customized faux green croc, faux bamboo storage bar cabinet by lane.
I have completely transformed this cabinet into a unique one of a kind storage or dry bar cabinet. The cabinet breaks down into two pieces or section. The cabinet sits on top of the iron base. I started the transformation with covering the front doors in an amazing faux green croc upholstery. The bright green color and cool texture adds a bit of drama and high design. I trimmed it with faux bamboo wood and covered the trim with gold gilt and mild antiquing.
I added large metal round hardware pulls to the doors.
The wood surround and sides were faux painted in a mottled green color which coordinates perfectly with the croc upholstery.
The iron base was left in its original soft pale black finish. The interior was left in the original pale speckled soft greenish blue color. The cabinet comes with one interior shelf which can be removed or moved to a higher, lower area.. The base of the interior has a swivel at the bottom.
This is such a versatile cabinet, which may have originally be intended for a television as you can see with the cutout section on the back.. Today this piece would make for an amazing dry bar as shown in one of my photo's. It can also be utilized as a small closet for folded denim, sweaters and such in a bedroom.
Anyway you decide to utilize this beauty it will surely be a conversation starter and a one of a kind show piece in your home.

As stated above, the cabinet has been transformed and has been completely made over. The left door rubs ever so slightly at the bottom. The interior shelf and bottom had a few small dings on the shelf, front and back. It appears to have had possibly a little water swelling. The bottom of the front doors had this small issue as well as shown in the fourth photo, however it does not impair the function or design. less
