Antique French pair of electrical wall sconces with mirrored reflector backplates framed in round stamped metal decorative trim inset with pie-shaped sections of cut glass mirror; fastened with aged copper decorative rosette and nut. Each sconce arm holds a floral-shaped bobeche with white wax candle sleeve and 1 candle base bulb.
This timeless pair of sconces are so stunning in person given the scale and detail and would fit in with a variety of decor styles.

- As found, the electrical looks as though it has been replaced at some point. I have not checked or had … moreAs found, the electrical looks as though it has been replaced at some point. I have not checked or had them checked to see if they are in working condition. I would have them checked by an electrician prior to installation. As you can imagine, the sconces are quite fragile. There is bending in some of the edges of the stamped metal decorative trim, there is aging and patina to both the metal and mirror. There is some foxing/discoloration to the mirror rays especially along the sides of the rays which look like tiny fleabites to the edges but are in fact just discoloration to the mirror plate. One of the sconces has some movement in the rays when you pick up. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase or to send more photos if needed. less
