This striking chandelier is a refined example of Max Ingrand’s mastery in combining architectural clarity with poetic light diffusion. The design is defined by a solid brass structure that supports a carefully composed group of sea blue green glass panels. These glass plates, executed in the unmistakable colored glass tradition of Fontana Arte, form three symmetrical square shades that give the chandelier its strong yet elegant geometrical presence. Within each of these glass enclosures sits a cylindrical white matte glass tube. These inner diffusers surround the light sources and soften the illumination, creating a layered and atmospheric glow. The interaction between the colored outer glass and the milky inner tubes produces a subtle play of light and reflection that changes depending on viewpoint and ambient conditions. It is a composition that feels both sculptural and functional, perfectly aligned with the refined modernism of postwar Italian design. The generous scale of this chandelier makes it particularly suitable above a large dining table or in a central architectural space, where its proportions and light quality can be fully appreciated. Exceptionally, we have two identical examples available, originating from the same interior and matching perfectly as a pair, an extremely rare opportunity for collectors and interior architects alike. Both chandeliers are in very good condition, with beautifully aged brass and glass showing only minimal, negligible signs of use. This model seldom appears on the market, and almost never as a matching pair. Kindly note that the listed price refers to one chandelier.
