This Vintage Henredon Furniture king-size Headboard is restrained with chinoiserie-inspired detailing, giving it a beautiful balance of material richness and understated ornamentation that would make it an elegant focal elelment for any sophisticated bedroom setting.
Wide, rectilinear form composed of three recessed rectangular wood panels with book matched veneers
Upper corners accented with decorative brass mounts
Horizontal lower rail spans width of headboard
Rear structure includes solid vertical supports and a horizontal stretcher
Henredon Furniture Industries, Inc mark visible on reverse side of headboard
Very good vintage condition, showing wear consisten with age and careful use. Wood surfaces show light to moderate surface wear including faint scratches. rEcessed panel areas exhibit natural tonal variation. Edges and corners show light wear and minor nicks along the lower rail and vertical supports. Reverse side shows typical wear for age and use consistent with vintage furnishing. Brass mounts show age-consistent patina.
