Fajalauza pottery is highly sought after and collectible. Designs with birds, flowers and pomegranates are more traditional. Geometric and intricate designs are not as common. This piece features a bird motif and has the classic blue and white glazed designs for which Fajalauza pottery is known. The bowls look beautiful wall mounted in collections and included are a few samples of recent installations.

Granadine traditional pottery is well known as Fajalauza ceramics. The potters settled in the city gradually from the late sixteenth century until the present day, in the North of Albaicin area next to the Fajalauza Gate. The style of pottery takes its name from Morales, the largest factory in Granada. In time, all pottery production in Granada came to be known as Fajalauza pottery.
