Antique Old English Copeland Spode ‘Peacock’ Chinoiserie Plate With Multicolored Birds & Botanical Flowers With a Scalloped Decorative Edge, Circa 1891. The dinner plate design is a Chinoiserie pattern, featuring a peacock and a pheasant on rocky outcroppings amidst flowers, primarily an oversized pink peony. Beautifully hued hand-enameled polychromatic highlights over a black transfer print with a decorated, slightly scalloped edge.
