It … Read more Vintage: C.1878s-C.1910's, French blue opaline glass with hand applied gilt gold filigree perimeter design motif large decorative pedestal bowl. It is a low sitting pedestal center decorative bowl with a sinuous and sensuous shape, simple yet radiates with presence, as the color is not forgiving, but electrifying, along with the detailed gold trim design. There is also a pencil trim surround to the underside round low footed base as well as a pencil trim surround to the upper top portion, perimeter edge surround, which has worn, due to age, indicative, normal and conducive with antique pieces, given the era and period of manufacture.
