Up for sale is an antique parlor mantel clock. This clock was made during the late 19th century by the Russell & Jones Clock Co. This clock is the “Chicago” model and it features a lovely Eastlake design.
Russell & Jones was a short lived company based out of Pittsfield Mass.
This clock has an 8 day time/strike movement. It has an alarm component as well.
The clock appears to be in overall good condition and well kept. It even has its original paper labels on the base and back. The label on the back is partial and bears the model name. We believe that it says that the model name reads “Chicago.”
Door hook has worn away, but the door opens and closes without issue.
The movement was last serviced in 2021. It ran and chimed when recently tested.
