Design Plus Gallery presents a French Louis XVI Style Writing Desk from Maitland Smith. The desk offers you a timeless European look that is paired with exceptional craftsmanship. The desk is constructed with a mahogany stained frame. The work surface is finished in black leather that is enhanced with gold tool. Under the table top surface are three functional drawers that are fitted with metal ribbon and reef ring pulls. The desk is supported by four fluted and tapered legs, a hallmark of the Louis XVI style, that are adorned with parcel-gilt bronze mounts and decorative hardware to add subtle opulence with architectural interest. This style is no longer in production with the brand and is in good condition, visible and minimal wear. Made in the Philippines.
