Elegant and historically rich, this Karl Lauffer Westminster-chime mantel clock dates from circa 1930s–1940s. Crafted in Germany by the renowned Uhrenfabrik Karl Lauffer in Schwenningen, it embodies the artistry and mechanical excellence of the period.
Movement & Chime: 8-day mechanical movement with Westminster quarter-hour chimes.
Dial & Hands: Round dial with Roman numerals, brass gilt trim, and slim baton-style hands.
Case & Finish: Finely veneered wooden case (likely walnut or mahogany), curved top design, with glazed brass bezel door. Fully functional and in excellent working order. Classic Westminster chime gives rich, resonant quarter- and hour-striking tones.
Ideal for collectors of mantel clocks, German horology, or period home decor.
