This is a vintage distressed brass clad trunk that is great for storing extra blankets or throw pillows. It would make a fabulous coffee table, and it could even provide extra seating during a party.
The trunk is made of wood and clad with polished brass. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious storage space lined in a houndstooth patterned paper lining. There is a latch that can be secured with a lock (lock not included). The trunk is unsigned but was likely made in the United States during the 1960s.
The midcentury era trunk is in good vintage condition. The trunk functions well, and the hinges and latches function well. There are copious cosmetic scratches and plenty of oxidation on the brass. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the trunk.
The trunk measures 32.5” wide, 18.5” deep, and 16.25” tall.
