This vintage late 19th century American vanity clock is designed with a decorative motif on a sterling silver frame. The circular clock has a white enamel face with Arabic numbers. Also, there is a trademark of a sword piercing the capital letter "B" just above its center. A lush Burgundy velvet backing & easel back completes the ensemble of this footed sterling framed clock. There is a sculpted monogram with initials "H M W" on top of the frame. I believe the clock is over wound, but it runs on & off. This can be fixed with a thorough cleaning/service of this antique timepiece. The frame is stamped "STERLING" & has the hallmark of the sword piercing the letter B, followed by the number 3956.
