Mason's Chinoiserie shallow bowl plate. Measures 9 1/2" diameter.
Gilt flower in the pattern mainly on flower and fence at the center. The pattern was named "Fence, Rock & Flower" by the Mason's Collectors Club. The plate is especially unusual because of the embossing along the edge.
No chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. Very little wear to glaze.
The plate has the linear impressed mark: MASON'S PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA, which dates it c1813-20.
