Offered is a Mid 20th Century Rosewood art frame with protective glass. Included is an art photography print of the Faraglioni rocks off the island of Capri, Italy - the Faraglioni are three iconic rock formations that jut out of the sea on the southeast coast of Capri.
The three rocks have individual names: Stella (closest to the island), Mezzo (the middle one), and Scopolo (the furthest one out), but we are selling the magnificent frame. The photograph is great and has a subtle vintage tinge, but we cannot represent whether this is professional photography and mass printed for tourist souvenirs, or whether this was a personal photograph that an individual had printed and custom framed for their home or office. This piece features precision reversed beveled rosewood frame molding with exquisite burled wood corner accent overlay joints that converts the corners from sharp angled to rounded bullnose. Perfect for framing a fabulous piece of Scandinavian or Mid 20th century art that needs that final special touch, or if you have access to a good mirror company that can cut the corners for you this is a fabulous find. We hope that the pictures do justice to this fabulous piece - it's very special.
