Bring a touch of sophisticated history into your home with this stunning antique mechanical clock, crafted by the legendary German clockmakers Friedrich Mauthe circa 1924.
This isn't just a timepiece; it's a conversation starter and a true collector's item.
Why You’ll Love It:
Authentic Provenance: We have identified this exact model in a vintage Mauthe catalog as No. 1458 . This confirms its history and architectural "Cottage" style.
The case is made of rich, dark Walnut (Nogal), showcasing beautiful grain patterns. It features intricate architectural details, side turnings, and a graceful arched top crowned with an elegant finial.
Beautiful Face: The cream-colored dial features classic Roman numerals and fancy hands, surrounded by a gleaming brass bezel and a decorative brass center.
A Glimpse Inside: As shown in the photos, the side door opens to reveal the beating heart of the clock—the mechanism, the wire gong, and the unique visible gridiron-style pendulum.
