The case is made from carved slate stone. It is adorned with lovely Greco Roman ornamentation throughout.

This clock is abnormally large for this style.
It measures about 19 x 6.25 x 20 inches

The movement is by Samuel Marti. It features an open escapement design with rubies for precision. The movement was last serviced in 2021. It ran when recently tested.
