Designed circa 1970s by Wolf Karnagel (b. 1940, Germany), a master of modernist, functional tableware. His work is influenced by the Bauhaus tradition, emphasizing clean lines, geometric forms, and elegant practicality. Karnagel created designs for leading manufacturers including Hutschenreuther, Rosenthal, KPM Berlin, and Villeroy & Boch. Examples of his work are held in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and other institutions.
