It is hand made of solid wood with a lot of decorated bone inlay creating multiple patterns throughout. It's very handsome and comfortable and it has a very special extra feature; it has two long extensions legs that swing all the way out from under each arm to rest your feet on. There is a round brass pivoting mechanism that goes from the top of the arms straight through the wood legs to the bottom of the legs and is visible at the tip of the arm where the extensions swing out from. Lounging in this chair is very comfortable and it doubles your pleasure when you swing out the extensions and rest your feet on them. The extensions swing open perfectly with no effort and are very stable and can hold the weight of legs and feet. The extensions can also be used to hold a drink or a book or a snack.
When the leg extensions are fully swung out it measures 75 inches from front to back.
