The chairs are of the Louis XIII style with massive and solidly built and carved with ornate scrollwork, cartouches, and acanthus leaves. They have high backs and wide deep seats with a red velvet and gold diamond print upholstery that looks rich with the dark wood frame. They are in good condition for their use with minor visible wear.
