This charming piece features a kneeling white elephant with expressive eyes and raised trunk — a traditional symbol of wisdom and good fortune — topped with a colorful saddle-style planter in shades of citron yellow, celadon green, sky blue, and burnt orange.

Beautifully detailed, with hand-painted accents and a high-gloss glaze, this whimsical piece captures the optimistic exoticism of postwar design and would have originally been sold through fine gift shops and department stores in the 1950s–60s.
