It is a stoneware sculpture as well as a bell, the clapper is a large piece of stoneware. The center of attention is drawn to the face. The cow appears to be annoyed? Contemplative? Or is she thinking of wanting to be left alone? The artist is Todd Warner, an American sculptor who is known for his whimsical animals and figurative forms. His African animals are best known. He is described as The Master of Sophisticated Whimsy. I highly treasure this sculpture since the 70's. Todd Warner placed his name "Todd Warner"at the base of the bell and dated it "74." See less
