WONDERFUL ANTIQUE LARKING BROTHERS YELLOWWARE INKWELL CA. 1855 DIMENSIONS 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 2 1/4"
DESCRIPTION Beautiful Larkin Brothers pottery inkwell with a Rockingham glaze. In the form of a sleeping woman, known as the "Sleeping Shepherdess." The Larkin Brothers operated a ceramic pottery company in East Liverpool, Ohio from about 1848 to 1861.
CONDITION Overall excellent. No dings, chips or cracks. Some glaze loss front and back (all visible in the images). A FINE AND RARE 19TH CENTURY BENNINGTON FIGURAL INKWELL.
